Kevin Edwards Cahill, executive director of The W. Edwards Deming Institute, will speak at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Great Hall of the R. Haze Hunter Conference Center on the campus of Southern Utah University.
His presentation, “Common Sense – A Common Management Problem,” is part of SUU’s Convocations series. All convocations are free and open to the campus and general public.
“Kevin Edwards Cahill is the grandson of Dr. W. Edwards Deming, the well-known American scholar and consultant whose innovative ideas on 'systems thinking' and his comprehensive approach to organizational leadership and management earned him the title 'the father of quality,’” said Danielle Dubrasky, director of convocations and an associate professor of creative writing at SUU.
Cahill heads The Deming Institute’s strategic planning, management, operations, marketing and communication efforts, as well as helping its mission of inspiring individuals and organizations to make a difference, think differently, ask better questions and seek new knowledge.
